Wind Power- Environmental Impact

Wind energy is the cheapest form of alternative energy sources both monetarily and environmentally. Wind power is ample, free, renewable, widely distributed, and clean. The use of wind power eliminates pollution caused by the burning of fossil fuel for energy. In addition, wind power produces no waste or greenhouse gases thus making it a favorable energy alternative and reduces our dependence on fossil fuels.
