Create less waste by purchasing products made out of recycled materials and buying materials that are sold in reusable containers. Find products that have less packaging so there is less to throw away, for example, bulk packaging. People need to buy biodegradable products and recycle. Dispose of chemicals and other hazardous materials in the appropriate manner. If people have old clothing or appliances that are in working condition, they should take them to collection depots or charitable organizations. Also, try to use eco-friendly herbicides and pesticides.
