Land Pollution - Features

Land pollution is the damage and contamination of the earth’s surface through misuse from poor disposal of city wastes, agricultural practices, and industrial waste dumping. Land pollution is due mostly to chemicals such as herbicides and pesticides being dumped on crops and gardens as well as the unauthorized dumping of chemicals. In addition, litter on our public roadways and countryside is a large contributor to land pollution.
